Stegosaurs

Stegosaurs had four legs, the front ones shorter than the back ones. They were herbivorous and did'nt grow much bigger than 9 metres long. Their skulls - and there fore brains - were very small. They had two rows of triangular bony plates along their arched back as well as their tail. They are assumed to have been used for body heat regulation. There was a pair of bony spikes on the end of the tail that would have probably been used a defence mechanism.
